Meet the Owners – Larry and Lori Ayers

Larry and Lori Ayers, the proud new owners of Red Earth Tile & Stone, are excited to continue the legacy of offering top-quality artisan-made tile to the Tucson community and beyond.
Larry, a second generation Tucsonan who grew up on the Northwest side of Tucson, fell in love with everything the Sonoran Desert had to offer. If Larry wasn’t spending time exploring his surroundings he was working with his father who ran a successful renovation company, Interior Innovations. After years of work honing his craft Larry went on to start his first small business, Ayer Stone & Tile, in the same field but specializing in flooring with his main focus being hard surfaces. With his skills he gained at his fathers company coupled with his expertise in flooring it was an easy transition into his next adventure in life. When the opportunity arose he jumped head first into becoming the proud new owner of Red Earth Tile & Stone and he has loved every minute of it.
Lori, who also grew up in Tucson, met Larry in 1992 and became his perfect partner in life and in business. Lori had her start in customer service and management with 30 years experience at a neurosurgical office. Lori also managed their own small business for Ayer’s Stone & Tile. Lori handled all the behind the scenes, day to day details it took to create their successful company. Lori has always been passionate about interior design and now handles various roles within Red Earth Tile & Stone. Lori combines her knowledge of business and love of design to help create her clients vision of a perfect dream home. Her enthusiasm for color, texture, and creating beautiful spaces led her to pursue her new career. Lori’s artistic vision and design knowledge ensure that their customers find the perfect tiles to make their homes truly unique and stunning. Lori can truly say she loves what she does.
